Five new chapters in joshi wrestling history
The Timeline grows with five new cards covering ARSION’s transition to AtoZ, the Kana Manifesto, the beginnings of Actwres girl’Z, Manami Toyota’s retirement, and Sareee’s return to Japan with Sareee-ISM.
Each chapter pairs historical context with three compact Documented Record entries, connecting changes in promotions, individual careers, and the wider women’s wrestling scene.
237 wrestler profiles now feature 3,972 move entries, plus 487 variations. A dedicated Moves tab brings finishers, signature techniques, and repertoire details into each profile. Move descriptions explain how the techniques work, while grouped variations make it easier to follow the different forms of a hold, throw, or strike.
The expanded movesets help connect each wrestler’s profile to what you see in the ring, from familiar finishing moves to the smaller details that shape their approach. Research and descriptions continue to be refined as the archive grows.
17 promotion profiles, 34 new wrestler profiles, and a smoother archive
The new Promotions experience brings together 17 curated promotion profiles, covering their histories, leadership, championships, events, media, and connections across the archive.
Modern additions: Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner, Prince Devitt, Miu Watanabe, Shoko Nakajima, Suzu Suzuki, AZM, Yuya Uemura, Ren Narita, Bryan Danielson, Mercedes Moné, Mina Shirakawa, Gabe Kidd, and Ryohei Oiwa.

Mobile navigation, map scrolling, search, and detail views have been refined. Timeline events can now be shared directly from their detail views. The Vault, Venues, Voices & Officials, and About also received targeted polish.
Profiles for wrestlers, Voices & Officials, masks, and venues now include direct share controls. Phones and tablets open the device share sheet, while desktop copies a direct profile link and confirms the action with a brief status message.
Wrestler profiles receive a complete accomplishments pass
All 191 wrestler profiles now include populated Titles & Accomplishments records covering championships, tournaments, awards, and honors. Profiles also distinguish current employers from legacy affiliations, use corrected promotion filters, and support direct links that select and position each wrestler in the archive.
Recent archive additions and site changes now live together on this page. The What's New link in the header shows a small dot when something new has been added, and the dot clears after you visit.
The Vault now reaches further across classic eras and modern standouts, connecting Baba, Inoki, Choshu, Fujinami, landmark joshi bouts, and current-generation matches.
Homepage trails now rotate through curated paths while staying selectable, bringing Muta, Tiger Mask, the Four Pillars, Inokiism, deathmatch history, and monster gaijin runs into view.
The Story gives new visitors a guided route through eras, promotions, rivalries, stylistic shifts, and defining figures so the archive reads as one connected history.
